Why GoEnroll?

It is helpful

This resource is created for prospective students at any level to help them find their calling. GoEnroll is a platform that connects those who want to receive education with the guidance of those who have gone through this process themselves and can give professional advice.

Basics

The first step

Where to start if you are looking for a path to get admitted into a college in the United States? You may start navigating on the Internet, or sending a request to an educational agency, or buying an instant educational program or a webinar… But, as we see from our experience, the most reliable way to find an answer is to ask family or friends. They will always give you a tip where to find a professional advisor, mentor or even student, who will provide you with practical help and support you throughout the application process.

Important topics

What stage are you at?

Program

If you have doubts which program to choose, – start with the one that is the most appealing to you. As part of a regular curriculum in College you will have to choose general subjects in different areas. Those that you are attracted to the most are likely to turn into your future profession. A former humanities student can test the waters in sociology, and then just one statistics class will lead him to an applied mathematics major. Your courage, support of independent advisers, along with flexibility of American education has become a true breakthrough in your life.

Essay

An essay is the only document in a statement that allows you to answer the questions “How?”, “Why?”. With the help of an essay, you can reveal yourself as an individual, identify your goals and objectives in relation to education and career, and, most importantly, differentiate yourself from hundreds of applicants. A grammatically correct, clear, concise, consistent motivational letter will help to compensate for a shortcoming, if anything happens to appear so, for example low GPA or test results.

Visa

One of the most important stages in preparing for admission is the moment of enrollment in a university. After receiving a confirmation letter that you are approved as a student for a school / university, it becomes possible to start a process of obtaining a student visa I-20 / F-1 by filling out the application and scheduling an interview at the consulate.

Papers

Papers include a record in academic subjects that are actual up-to-date: transcripts, filled out Application form, SAT, ACT, TOEFL/IELTS, GMAT, GRE test results. The application also includes a personal statement, in some cases (for those who apply for Master’s degree, for example) – recommendation letters; for those who are applying for Master of Business Administration – Resume.

Interview

This is a fact-finding meeting that takes place after you enter the university. At the mock-interview prospects develop answers to the main questions and identify very important points that need to be emphasized during the interview process with the selection committee. The mock interview is very similar to a real one, where key questions are worked on. After training students take a note of all the recommendations.

Accomodation

Reservation of accommodation should be made after obtaining an entry student visa. Many trusted housing providers are available in the university area, including university campuses that can accommodate students on their premises.
It is highly recommended over the course of the first two years to choose housing on campus. Thus, students can get used to the new environment, make friends and get adjusted to the community. This is an excellent opportunity to reduce expenses for food (the university provides monthly coupons for local food courts) and for travel: in fact, campuses are located in the immediate vicinity of universities.

Financial Aid

In the United States we have up to 6,000 educational institutions, including 2-year, 4-year colleges and universities that provide postgraduate, professional degrees and advanced studies. Almost 70% of student funding comes from the educational institutions themselves, the remaining 30% are commercial or non-profit foundations, women’s, cultural, professional, government or religious organizations. But getting a scholarship at America’s top universities is just as difficult as from foundations. There are many nuances that affect a funding decision.

Tests

Applicants are expected to take college admission, language, management or specialized subjects’ tests that reflect preparedness of prospects to study at any level of educational institution. Independent mentors and counselors advise, conduct training, organize a search for schools and programs for the subsequent successful passing of tests.

Travel

Flight tickets should be booked after obtaining an entry student visa F-1. You can do it independently or through service providers – partners at the GoEnroll site. Transportation is also provided upon request as well as student supervision during the first 6 months in college.

I wrote LArdia on a specific occasion – to prepare the competitive essay. I was preparing for the MBA admissions and it was a decisive factor.

Many thanks to LArdia specialists, they gave me recommendations on how to choose a topic, how to write an essay, where to put emphasis, especially considering my particular university. The essay was nicely edited, I have passed!

Good luck to everyone, if you are looking for a consultant, a perfect adviser, call LArdia – this is what you need.»

«I came to California to try the water and understand whether I’d go to study here on animation.

LArdia organized an academic tour to the best educational institutions, where I was able to meet teachers and students, attend classes, see the campus and student work.

It turned out that nine out of ten graduates of my specialty at the college of design and architecture are lucky to get the job offers over the training stage. I was amazed by the technical equipment! Now, thanks to LArdia, I am the student and every day starts with beautiful feeling of love and happiness, because I’ll attend classes!

I really, really recommend the educational consultant LArdia! Here are very attentive and professional people.
Thank you, guys!!»

«I appreciate LArdia and her manager for invaluable support throughout the admissions process, from creating an academic strategy, helping to choose a program, to find an accommodation.

Everything is thoughtfully and professionally managed. Even though when something unexpected arise Agency comes to the rescue and everything is solved!

I am studying for a master’s program at one of the best national public universities in the US called UCLA and after graduation I will become a financial adviser/analyst.

My dream has come true! I highly recommend Lardia, they are the best.»

«I turned to the LArdia when we came to a standstill with our searches and questions of how, after all, we should go after American education.

Eulalia clarified all issues, and, most importantly, helped to choose our path.

Roman passed all the tests, sent prepared documents and received an invitation to three universities at once! In one of them he was offered a scholarship so we agreed without hesitation.

Thank you, LArdia, you did a great job. Recommended!»

Our Story

From The Founder

Several years ago, my seventeen-year-old daughter decided to pursue her studies abroad. She was great at humanities, studied four foreign languages, published a couple of books and believed in a writing career as her future. I gradually guided her to follow certain steps. After six months at an English language school, she enrolled in college and it became the turning point. In order to study general subjects, she took sociology. Unexpectedly her interest switched to statistics which inevitably ignited curiosity about math classes. Four years later she graduated from a top university in the US with a double major in math and economics.

This life changing transformation couldn’t have been possible had the educational system not allowed it. It is fascinating how students can receive higher education in the US by using the system which is an ongoing process of finding their hidden vocation.
Step by step, experimenting with subjects, getting inspired with various fields or choosing to go in a different direction, students get a chance to come to a realization that ultimately brings them to the professional career, which makes them feel happy. And I strongly believe that happy people can build a happy future.

Time flies. Since then I have helped with admission and educational process kids of my friends, then kids of friends of my friends. Finally, I decided to make it into my primary occupation. Now I have been guiding students from all over the world to follow their heart.
“Ask not what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive… then go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” Howard Thurman.
